Where were the coupons?

I received a call on Monday morning from a friend (who also happens to be a neighbor, my visiting teacher, and a fellow coupon enthusiast). She asked me if I had received any coupons in my newspaper, because she hadn't. She was wondering if she should call and complain. So, I had the unpleasant job of informing her of the sad truth that coupons usually don't come in the newspaper on holiday weekend (last weekend was President's Day). So sad, but so true.
